]]>First and foremost, start with fresh, high-quality salmon. Look for vibrant, firm fillets that have a pleasant smell of the sea. Fresh salmon not only ensures optimal flavor but also contributes to a tender and flaky texture when cooked.
When it comes to seasoning, simplicity is often the key to letting the natural flavors of salmon shine. A sprinkle of salt, a squeeze of lemon, and a dash of herbs like dill or parsley can enhance the taste without overpowering it.
Be mindful of cooking time and temperature. Overcooking salmon can result in a dry and tough texture while undercooking may leave it raw in the center. Aim for a slightly pink center that flakes easily with a fork. Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the fillet, so keep an eye on it and adjust accordingly.
