You Only Need Three Ingredients for This Gluten-Free Coconut Balls Recipe

Coconut balls are one of the most irresistible truffles on the market, and the fact they’re super easy to make gives them a special charm. You don’t have to be a baking expert to give them a try, especially if you use this super-simple recipe.

Michaela Vais, the woman behind food blog Elavegan, shared her favorite recipe for Coconut Bliss Balls with her fellow coconut lovers, and they include only three ingredients!

If you’re hosting guests with dietary restrictions, these balls are a perfect treat, since they also happen to be vegan, gluten-free and paleo-friendly.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup coconut butter melted (not coconut oil) (80 g)
  • 1/2 cup shredded unsweetened coconut (42 g) + more for rolling
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup or maple syrup (40 g)
  • 8 almonds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Put the melted coconut butter (you can melt it in a double boiler or in a microwave), maple syrup and the shredded unsweetened coconut in a small bowl, stir with a spoon
  2. Place the bowl in the freezer for about 3-5 minutes so that the mixture gets more firm
  3. Form 8 balls with your palms, it works best with slightly wet hands
  4. You can add one almond in the center of each ball (optional)
  5. Roll the balls in shredded unsweetened coconut and store them in the fridge.
