Who doesn’t love a good plate of Buffalo wings, especially on game day? Sticky, spicy, and just plain finger-licking good, these wings are a crowd-pleaser that never disappoints. If you’ve ever wanted to recreate this pub favorite at home but weren’t sure where to start, this recipe has got you covered.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of chicken wings
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • Celery sticks, for serving
  • Blue cheese or ranch dressing, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. This will help them crisp up.
  3. In a large bowl, sprinkle the wings with salt, pepper, and baking powder, tossing until evenly coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with foil, place a wire rack on top, and arrange the wings in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Meanwhile, heat hot sauce, butter, minced garlic, and vinegar in a saucepan over low heat until the butter melts and the sauce combines.
  7. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce, and serve hot with celery sticks, and blue cheese or ranch dressing.
