We’ve seen countless celebrities launch their own beverage brands in recent years, and Tom Holland decided to put his own twist on this rising trend. The Spider-Man star entered the beverage market with Bero, the non-alcoholic beer brand inspired by his own journey with sobriety.
Holland became aware of his alcohol dependency after deciding to take part in “dry January” back in 2022. He described this period as a “really tough” time, but he wanted to see it through and made a commitment to himself to stop drinking for a longer period of time after the initial period was over.
After getting sober, he started exploring the world of non-alcoholic beer and realized he fit into this space perfectly. He brought the master brewer Grant Wood on board, whose 40 years of experience as brewmaster at some of the world’s most prestigious breweries came in handy when it was time to craft Bero.
According to Bero’s official website, this beverage is not a substitute, but the new gold standard in beer, and “it’s not about compromise, but about striking the perfect balance between pleasure and moderation.” The first drop includes three distinct flavors – Kingston Golden Pils, Edge Hill Hazy IPA, and Noon Wheat – described as “equally familiar and completely new.”
