Don’t you hate when there is clearly some ketchup left in the bottle, but you can’t get it out? Or how you have to put a lot of effort into tapping the bottle to finally squeeze it out? Well, all these problems are about to go away.
TikTok user Casey Rieger recently shared a video with a genius hack that will allow you to get every drop of ketchup out of the bottle in no time. And it is simpler than you might expect.
“OK, I saw someone do this on TikTok, and I thought it was genius. So, I’m going to give it a try,” Rieger says at the start of the clip while holding a bottle of ketchup that is nearly emptied out.
The TikTok then proceeds to spin her arm in a counterclock motion while holding the ketchup bottle at its base. After several seconds of spinning, all the ketchup is pushed towards the lid, allowing for an easy squeeze.
Rieger’s video became a hit on social media, getting more than 22 million views since being posted back in August. Most TikTok users were impressed with the hack, although there were some who proposed an even easier solution.
“Life hack: store it on the lid like you’re supposed to,” one user wrote.
“Or just store it upside down?” another one added.
