Ingredients:
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
- Microwave the flour in a small bowl for 15 seconds. Stir and heat again and repeat the process until the flour has been heated for 1 minute total.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the butter, both sugars, and the vanilla extract. Put the dough onto a baking sheet and press it into a 16″ x 8″ rectangle. Put it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Take out the frozen dough and cut it in half crosswise. Put half of the dough in a pan and top up with ice cream. Spread the ice cream evenly across the dough and top it with the remaining dough.
- Freeze for at least 2 hours. Afterwards, remove from the freezer and cut into 16 sandwiches and enjoy.
