After a long day at work, you might feel exhausted and perhaps a little frustrated due to a lack of fun. One thing that can certainly pick up your mood is a scrumptious and meaty meal that will satisfy your cravings. Here is a guide to making chicken cutlets that are sure to make for a scrumptious dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/3 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • lemon wedges
  • salt

Instructions:

  1. On a cutting board, cut each chicken breast in half to make 4 chicken cutlets.
  2. Pour the flour onto a large dish. In a second dish, whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt. In a third dish, put the bread crumbs.
  3. Season each side of the cutlets with 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt. Lightly immerse each cutlet into the flour dish. Shake off the excess before dipping into the egg mixture and then, finally, shake off the excess again before submerging into the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Pour 1/2 inch of oil into a large pot. Place over a medium-high heat.
  5. Cook each cutlet for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip over and cook the other side for 2 to 3 minutes as well.
  6. Place the cutlets on a paper towel and season with salt. Serve with lemon wedges.
