When you hear dulce de leche, healthy is not usually something that comes to mind. But, if you use just a bit, you can really get all the flavor and hint of sweetness while compensating with other healthy ingredients. These cookies only use four ingredients and have a super short bake time. Try them today and satisfy your sweet tooth without all the guilt.

Ingredients

These cookies only use the following ingredients: oats, nut milk, dulce de leche, and coconut flakes. If you don’t have coconut or don’t like the taste, you can completely omit it and add something else like nuts or cocoa nibs. You can also use whatever type of milk you like or have in the house.

Method

  1. Mix together the oats and coconut together in a bowl.
  2. Then, pour in the dulce de leche and stir into the other ingredients. Use as little or as much as you want!
  3. Finally, pour in the milk and mix until everything is well combined.
  4. Place a small amount of the dough on a parchment and flatten it into a small round.
  5. Bake for 5-7 minutes and they’re ready to be eaten or stored for 3-5 days in an airtight container.
