Refresh Your Sparkling Water With These Tips

Sparkling water or seltzer are great alternatives to soda if you still want a fizzy drink and are on a diet. There are tons of flavored sparkling waters that you can get at the grocery store, but it’s super easy to make at home. Elevate sparkling water by simply adding a few ingredients. Here are four ways to take up your drink a notch.

Fresh Fruits and Herbs

Fresh fruits and herbs will give your drink more flavor. We suggest adding strawberries and mint or citrus and rosemary. If you’re not a fan of herbs, simply add just fruits or some berries.

Juice

Juice is a refreshing summer drink, but if you’re watching your calories and sugar intake, juice has tons of calories. Try mixing a one-to-one ratio of your favorite juice with sparkling water for a sweet, lower-calorie drink.

Lemonade

Lemonade, a fruit juice, also has lots of sugar added to it. To cut down on the sugar, mix a one-to-one ratio of sparkling water with it.

Alcohol

Did you know that many of your go-to alcoholic drinks already have sparkling water in them? You can always make a gin or tonic or you can switch things up with a tequila, lime, orange juice drink, and sparkling water drink.
