McDonald’s made a lot of buzz this past summer with its Grimace Shake, which was inspired by the fast food chain’s popular mascot, Grimace. The menu item proved to be quite popular among its customers and spanned an entire food trend on TikTok.

Unfortunately, the berry-flavored milkshake had a limited run that ended in early July, and there is no indication that McDonald’s might bring it back anytime soon. But all is not lost. If you enjoyed Grimace Shake, you’ll be happy to learn that you can also make it at home.

TikTok food creator Cookin With Megg shared a video recipe for a homemade version of Grimace Shake, and it looks quite easy.

According to Cookin With Megg’s video, which has close to six million views, all you need to do is combine vanilla ice cream, blueberries, a handful of raspberries, and milk in a blender. Then blend until smooth, pour into glasses, and top with whipped cream. That’s it.

TikToker’s homemade Grimace Shake turned out to be quite popular among social media users, who were eager to try it out.

“Thank you my sons been asking for it too and been disappointed because they don’t have it anymore definitely making this for him now,” one user wrote in the comments section.

“This looks like it tastes better then the grimace shake,” another added.
