Light Up Your Party With These Drunken Tequila Mangoes

Do you love fruit but also enjoy spicing things up with some liquid courage? Well, you can mix the two in order to make a daring appetizer to get your next party off on the right foot. Here’s how to make some intriguing drunken tequila mangoes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lime, juice and zest
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 4 ripe mangoes
  • 14 ounces tequila
  • pack of skewers or toothpicks

Instructions:

  1. Cut the mango into 1-inch chunks and add to a bowl with the tequila and lime juice. Allow the mango mixture to rest for 1 hour.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the lime zest with the chili powder and salt.
  3. Drain the mango and insert a skewer into each chunk. Dip into zest mixture and enjoy.
