Some people could eat pancakes and waffles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while others can’t even stand to think about them. If you are one of these people, figuring out what to eat for breakfast can be difficult. But don’t lose hope! There are still many things you can have for breakfast that may not exactly fit into the breakfast category where you live, but around the world, plenty of people are doing it.

Israel

If you ever stay at a hotel in Israel, you will most likely be surprised to find that breakfast looks a lot more like lunch or dinner. Israelis love to feast on salads for breakfast, including their traditional chopped salad of cucumbers and tomatoes, but also tuna, cabbage, and more.

Brazil

In a Brazilian home, all you will ever find on a breakfast table are deli meats, cheese, bread, and probably something sweet. Make yourself a ham and cheese sandwich and you will fit right into the Brazilian culture.

Mexico

A famous Mexican breakfast dish is called huevos rancheros, and has been widely adapted throughout the rest of North America. Although there are eggs on it, you won’t feel like you’re eating breakfast at all when it’s coupled with a tortilla, beans or chili, and vegetables.
