If You Are Looking To Go Vegan, Here Are Some Recipes For Your Toolbox

Going vegan can be difficult based on your diet before the switch, as well as your willingness to work a little bit harder in the kitchen rather than relying on drive-thru or take out options all the time. Luckily, there are some easy recipes that anyone can make in a snap that once you get down, you can make at a moments notice.

Chickpea Salad

This is a great dish because while it is easily customizable, the base will always taste good, and it is full of protein and nutrients! For the simplest version, drain a can of chickpeas and add it to a bowl of diced cucumber and tomato. Pour over olive oil, lemon juice, season with salt and pepper and you’re done! You can, of course, change the dressing, cook the chickpeas, and add other vegetables.

Guacamole

The perfect guacamole is healthful and delicious, making it the perfect snack. Mash an avocado and add in diced tomatoes and onions. Season with lemon or lime juice, salt, and a bit of paprika, and you have the ultimate guac!

Candied Nuts

A great vegan sweet is candied nuts! Just combine sugar and water until it’s dissolved, add in whatever nuts you want, and bake off for 30 minutes!
