Tea is a hugely popular drink across the world. There are so many varieties of tea possible, and in most grocery stores you’ll find a huge range of choices, including tea bags and loose leaf. While these are an excellent option for a quick, easy drink, there’s nothing better than fresh homemade tea. If you feel like brewing up a hot cup of soothing tea but aren’t sure of how to make it, then here are some simple ideas for a warming beverage that will leave you feeling refreshed.
Fresh Mint and Lemon
This flavor combination will leave you feeling super revived and calm. Fresh mint is an amazing ingredient to have around, and making tea is a great example. Simply break off some mint leaves until you have a small bunch and place them in a mug. Add a slice of lemon and then pour in water just off of the boil. Leave to brew for 5 minutes before enjoying.
Beetroot and Turmeric
This tea will give you such a boost of vitamins and has the most delicious, earthy flavor to it. It takes a bit longer to prepare, but the warming, rejuvenating result will be so worth it. Peel and chop up some beetroot and place it in a pot of water on the stove. Bring the water to a boil and leave to simmer for 5-10 minutes. Peel and chop a small piece of turmeric and add it to the water. Leave for another 5 minutes and then strain the liquid into mugs.
