How to Make Delicious Caramel Pork

Caramel pork is a classic in many Asian cuisines. Here is a short and easy version of this great dish. It is best matched with sticky white rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg pork loin
  • 5 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 5 tablespoons of honey
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 170 C.
  2. Place the pork loin in a baking pan, season with salt and pepper, and bake for 1 hour.
  3. In a small bowl mix the soy sauce and the honey.
  4. Whip off the extra fat from the pork and then pour the soy sauce and honey over it evenly and bake for another 30 minutes. Make sure to moist the pork with the sauce from time to time.
  5. Cut the pork into tranches and place on serving plates. Enjoy.
