This quarantine is teaching us to appreciate things we used to take for granted, like a cup of coffee in a favorite coffee shop. Now that we have to stay at home, we’re stuck with making out own coffee. Dalgona coffee got its name after South Korean dalgona candy and making it is really easy. All you need is a hand mixer or frother and a few common ingredients you probably have at home already.
Ingredients:
- instant coffee
- sugar
- milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- optional ice
Instructions:
- Mix 2 teaspoons of instant coffee with sugar to taste and some hot water. Make a smooth, creamy mixture with a frother or a hand mixer.
- Take your favorite glass and put some ice in it. Pour milk into the glass and add the coffee mixture on top of it.
- Enjoy your homemade iced coffee that tastes just as delicious as the ones you can buy in coffee shops!
