Have You Tried Potato Milk Yet?

Year after year, we’re getting more milk options to choose from, especially non-dairy milk. After soy, almond, and coconut milk became popular, they were followed by some other types of milk like hazelnut and oat. However, we never thought we’d see the day someone makes milk from potatoes, but that’s exactly what happened.

Potato milk has been revealed recently by a vegan-friendly company DUG. “Our new potato-based drink is deliciously creamy, makes perfect foam in coffee, works just like any other milk, and just so happens to be the most sustainable alternative on the market,” the company’s website reads. “Genius, right?”

It comes in three versions: Original that you can use with cereal, barista for coffee, and unsweetened for those who don’t want any sugar in it.

DUG is a Swedish company and their products are currently not available worldwide. At this moment, it’s only possible to order if you live in the UK. The rest of the world will have to wait or learn to make potato milk at home.

It only takes a few ingredients and a blender. If you want to learn how to do it and try this new milk option yourself, check out a few recipes we picked out for you here and here.
