We’d like to start this article off by saying that we are by no means shaming anyone who wants to order food from a restaurant. Hey, if the food is tasty and makes you happy, then by all means knock yourself out and live your life to the fullest. But for those who are trying to be more health-conscious (and money-conscious, for that matter), we can agree that it’s okay to hold ourselves accountable when we feel that we’ve taken things a bit too far. So, are you ordering out too much?
Celebration vs. Commonplace
Again, there’s nothing wrong with going back to the same restaurants on a regular basis, but if you’re trying to keep things to a limit, we’d recommend ordering in mainly when there’s something to celebrate. (By the way, a celebration can be something as basic as a weekly date with your significant other!)
Are You Feeling Good?
This seems like something, but you can sometimes tell if you’re eating out too much based on how you’re physically feeling. Eating out tends to veer towards the unhealthy side (unless it’s specifically a health-conscious place)—so when in doubt, listen to your tummy!
