When it comes to sandwiches, at least those made with sliced bread, they are usually cut in one of three ways: diagonally, vertically, or horizontally. And you may think that there is no other way of doing it. Well, as it turns out, there is.

X (former Twitter) user Ryan Duff recently introduced his own way of cutting sandwiches that have been taking the internet by storm. Calling it the “Duff Cut, “Duff is cutting sandwiches in the shape of the letter “Y. “

Duff demonstrated his “Duff Cut” on a ham and cheese sandwich and shared a photo on X, with the post being viewed 19 million times.

We have to admit that we understand all the hype. The sandwich somehow looks even more appetizing when cut this way. And a lot of other X users agreed.

“I cut my sandwich like this today and I’ll be honest you really did something here,” @throeingit tweeted.

“I didn’t know it was legal to cut a sandwich this way. You made twice as much sandwich out of the sandwich,” @Bonecondor added.
