3 Common Bruschetta Mistakes You Should Avoid Making

Bruschettas are one of the most popular appetizers, because they look great and taste delicious at the same time. They’re extremely versatile and easy to make, but you can improve your go-to recipe by avoiding these common mistakes.

Bread Choice

Picking the right kind of bread can make or break your bruschetta. Look for fresh baguettes with a light texture, and avoid slicing them too thick or too thin. When toasting your bread, make sure it’s crispy on the outside but soft and tender on the inside.

Yesterday marked the end of my Breakfast toasts series As many of you liked it rather would say LOVED it Came up with a bonus post In the frame ▶️ Desi Bruschetta If you are wondering why did I add the word DESI into it, then the obvious answer is : while Basil goes into the making of classic Italian Bruschetta recipe, here with the unavailability of basil, I replaced it with our very own Dhaniya which we call it as Coriander leaves. This has been my favourite from all my breakfast toasts option. I swear by the Italian delicacy and the flavours that garlic, olive oil infuses into any kind of food- be it pasta or pizza. This is a treat to all the tomato lovers in my feed cause all you need is fresh and juicy tomatoes chopped into fine pieces, good quality olive oil, minced garlic cloves, salt and black pepper. That’s it. To enhance the taste you can opt for Balsamic vinegar as well, if not, then with the above mentioned ingredients you are good to enjoy this summery treat. The fun fact is: I have had this since my childhood. My mom used to make it since she made a point that I keep having tomatoes without any miss. She is a tomato fanatic and is also quite obsessed. And so am I. I keep adding tomatoes in every possible thing. Her recipe didn’t include olive oil but had all other ingredients alongside lemon juice as well. As much as I loved enjoyed having this desi bruschetta on a well toasted bread brushed with garlic infused olive oil, I do miss how ammu used to make it when all that in the world mattered to her was to stuff my mouth with these goodness. Hope you all had loved this series Will come up with more such series in near future. Oil and Dressings

It’s common to brush each piece of bread with oil before topping them, and you shouldn’t skip this step because your bruschetta may end up too dry. When it comes to the dressings you’re using, make sure to keep it light so your bread wouldn’t become too soggy.

Toppings Overload

Bruschettas are usually eaten on the go without any utensils, and that’s why you shouldn’t go overboard with the toppings. If you load them with a bunch of ingredients, they may end up falling down before you take a bite and potently staining your clothes.
