Whitefish is a great source of healthy proteins and fats, but you may be wondering about the best way to cook it. The beauty of white fish is that there are many ways to prepare and serve it, check out three of the tastiest and easiest.

Oven Bake

Lightly oil a section of foil, then place the fish in the center of it. Drizzle a little more oil over the fish, and some lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. Wrap tightly, and then bake in an oven heated to 350 degrees for 20 – 25 minutes, until the flesh is firm and white all the way through.

Pan Fry

Heat a little oil in an iron skillet or non-stick pan, over medium heat. Place the fish down and let it cook on each side for around 5 minutes. Take care that it doesn’t burn. You can season it in the pan, or just after it’s cooked.

Grill

Grilling really brings the best out of fish and meat products. Heat a grill to a high heat, brush the fish with oil on both sides and grill for around 6 minutes on each side.
