Your Typical Fad Drink, That Works

About every other day some blog claims to have the magical serum to lose weight or make your metabolism faster. Many of these drinks are overhyped and then sold in all of the local health-conscious restaurants. Then one week later we are on to the next craze.

Sometimes a fad drink is delicious, sometimes it’s just plain expensive. When deciding which fads to try out we usually are skeptical. A good sign is if you know all of the ingredients and if it has been consumed by any culture for longer than a few decades.

Simple, refreshing but still with health benefits is lemon water, the fad drink that will not die. The ingredients help boost metabolism, calm your belly, and generally just hydrate. The recipe is to take a teaspoon of cinnamon, a half tablespoon or fresh honey, half a lemon, a shot of apple cider vinegar and just stir those ingredients into a liter of water. If you drink this every morning it is sure to regulate your appetite and can help clear your skin. Regardless of effects, the drink tastes good and is easy to try, so why not give it a go!
