Grilling season is slowly coming to an end, but there are still many delicious recipes you should try before taking a break. If you still haven’t eaten grilling buffalo chicken this summer, food blogger Becky Hardin is here to inspire you to give it a shot.
She shared a delicious recipe for grilled chicken breasts with followers of her hit Instagram page Easy Chicken Recipes, and you don’t have to be a pro to make it. The list of ingredients is pretty basic and includes spices that you probably already have at home, and she recommends serving it with a blue cheese mix—but that part is entirely up to you.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 4 chicken breasts
- 3/4 cup buffalo hot sauce
- crumbled blue cheese
- chopped green onion
- ranch or blue cheese dressing
Instructions:
- After turning the grill to medium-high heat, mix the onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to create the spice mixture.
- Spread the spice mixture and olive oil over the chicken breasts, before brushing them with 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce, evenly coating all sides.
- Grill the chicken breasts for approximately 6-8 minutes, before flipping them to the other side, and continue this process until they’re properly grilled.
- Once you’re done grilling, rub the remaining buffalo sauce on the chicken.
- Let the chicken rest for at least 5 minutes before serving it with crumbled blue cheese, chopped green onion, and ranch or blue cheese dressing.
