The Caipirinha, a traditional Brazilian cocktail, is the perfect refreshing and unique summer drink. It only takes 10 minutes to make!
Ingredients:
- 70 cl Cachaça
- 12 tablespoons golden caster sugar
- 1 kg crushed ice cubes
- 5 limes
- 2 cm fresh ginger
- 1 small bunch mint leaves
Instructions
- Start by cutting the limes into wedges.
- Squeeze the wedges into a pitcher and also add them into the liquid after you’re done.
- Add the ginger and sugar inside the pitcher.
- Get a muddler and start pressing all the ingredients together so you can get all the different tastes combined.
- Add ice to fill half of the pitcher, then muddle again.
- To finish off, pour the Cachaça and stir the cocktail.
- Add the remaining ice and include the mint leaves.
