]]>Storing peanut butter in a pantry is all fun and games unless you’re using natural peanut butter. Unlike the store-bought varieties, they tend to spoil pretty fast due to a high concentration of natural oils. That’s why it’s always a good idea to store them inside your fridge.
If you’re not storing your peanut butter upside down, it’s time to give it a try. The spread may stick to the lid, but the good outweighs the bad in this case. A quick stir will leave you with the creamiest peanut butter you could possibly ask for and its oily texture will be gone.
Never waste away your peanut butter by throwing the jar away as soon as you’re done. There will always be some peanut butter sticking to the sides, and you can put it to some good use by tossing some additional ingredients inside and making overnight oats or chia pudding.

]]>It really depends on what kind of peanut butter you use. If you’re using store-bought varieties such as Skippy or Jif, then those are a lot less healthy than you may realize. They do contain protein and healthy fats, but they are also higher in added sugars and unhealthy fats as well.
But if you’re using organic peanut butter, you’re a lot better off in the health department. It has all of the natural nutrients and proteins you need without any of the excess sugar normally seen in the popular brands.
So if you’re wondering how healthy peanut butter really is, the truth is that it just depends on what kind you’re getting. The fact that most people go for the store-bought brands allows us to make the conclusion that peanut butter is less healthy than most realize. However, we consciously omit the smaller population that eat the other kind.

]]>Peanut butter is incredibly versatile. You can use it in sweet or savory sandwiches, sauces, desserts, and many other places. It is a burger topping in some restaurants, as it’s creamy enough to be spread over the burger and the flavors go great together. The latest hit is using peanut butter as a hot dog topping, and once you try it, it will be clear why.
If you want to give it a chance, make sure to put peanut butter on the hot dog while it’s still warm. It will melt into a delicious sauce and give it another layer of flavor, plus the nostalgic note for all of you who lived on PB+J sandwiches as kids.
Not everyone is in love with this trend, though. After all, we don’t all enjoy the same foods. But if you’re ever out of mustard to put in your hot dog, you know what to do.

]]>Peanut butter and banana is a classic combination that works perfectly due to the creaminess of the peanut butter and the creaminess of the banana mixing to make a succulent, mouth-watering treat. We especially love this treat when toasted, as it makes the peanut butter and banana blend together in a warm treat.
Peanut butter is popular as a dip for apple slices, and you can also serve it on a sandwich. The crisp sweetness of apple works great with peanut butter, and we recommend sweet red apples like Honeycrisp as the variety to use.
This sandwich is for hard-core lovers of sweet things only. Peanut butter and marshmallow cream are two ingredients that, when combined, create a sandwich that is fit to be a dessert. If you can handle all of this sugar, you will probably love this combination.
