Old-fashioned cocktails are usually served in a lowball, old-fashioned glass. To prepare this cocktail you will need a shaker. If you don’t have one you can use a mixing glass.
Fill the shaker with 2 oz Calvados, 2 dashes of orange bitters, 1/2 oz od honey syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura. Mix the shaker very well.
Fill the lowball glass with ice. Open the lid of the shaker and strain the drink in the glass.

]]>Start by getting 1 oz white tequila, 1/2 cup good-quality ginger ale, 1/2 oz orange liqueur, and juice of one lime for the spritzer. The grenadine syrup in the recipe also requires separate ingredients. You will need 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, 1 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice and 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice.
The good thing about this pomegranate ginger spritzer is that you only need 5 minutes to make it. Start with the grenadine. Get a pan and put it over medium heat. Mix the sugar and pomegranate juice. Let it stay on the heat for 25 minutes, and make sure that you stir often until it starts simmering. You can now remove it from the stove and include the lemon juice.
Once this is done you can proceed with the spritzer. Get a glass and fill it with the lime juice, orange liqueur, white tequila and 2 tablespoons of the grenadine. Mix everything together. Add ice to the glass and finish off with the ginger ale. This is how you make a pomegranate ginger spritzer.

]]>Old Fashioned is officially the most popular cocktail in the world for the fourth year in a row. It is served in most bars and the favorite of all whiskey lovers. If you’ve never tried it, make sure to put on your must-have list.
Negroni took over the second spot on the best cocktails of 2018 list. This refreshing drink is ideal for hot summer days, so don’t hesitate before ordering one. Just like Old Fashioned, Negroni is the runner-up for the fourth year in a row.
Nothing beats a good Whiskey Sour. For all the bourbon fans, this is the all-time favorite cocktail.
It might sound like the ultimate ladies drink, but Dry Martini is adored by both men and women. Gin and Dry Vermouth are the perfect refreshing summer combo.

Another cocktail that strongly reminds of summer, but is served all year long. Made with white rum, sugar and lime juice, Daiquiri is all you need to sip on this season.

]]>The garnish is normally associated with fine dining drinks and meals but often times the actual garnish ingredients are parts of foods or flowers that would be put to waste in the cooking and mixing process.
The purpose of garnishing can be solely for visual pleasure but the garnish can also be edible and compliment the flavors of a dish. Guidelines for selecting your garnishes are more flexible now than ever and experimentation is encouraged.
Floral garnishes are common, and often delicious, including the best bite of food I have ever experienced a squash flower on a sea bass. More traditional garnishes include spices and citrus and are always a safe bet, especially for cocktails.
If you are looking for garnish inspo there are amazing accounts but @onedrinkaday.
