Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin Bakes Incredible Pop Culture Pies

Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin couldn’t even bake before 2016. But just a few years later, her work was been featured in dozens of publications and she appeared as a judge on Food Network’s Thanksgiving Pie Fight 2019 holiday special. The talented pie uses her favorite pop culture references to inspire her three-dimensional pies, and the final products are jaw-dropping.

Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin doesn’t just bake pies, she makes works of art that truly come to life with all of the fine detail she puts into each and every one of them.

“I’ve been baking pop culture pie art for the past few years on Instagram under the handle ThePieous,” she writes on Bored Panda. “All of them are based on different properties that are near and dear to my heart… My favorite video games, books, movies, music, TV series— mostly nerdy, but these things put a smile on my face. I hope they put a smile on your face too!”

She can turn anything into pie and she’s not shy about sharing her baking secrets with her followers. For those who want her recipes and techniques in one place, she recently published the book Pies Are Awesome: The Definitive Pie Art Book: Step‑by‑Step. It’s a great resource for learning the pie art if you’re into that and amazing as a gift to someone passionate about baking.
