When I was a young warthog I’d spend half of the school holidays at my Nona’s house, and I learned pretty quickly that EVERY meal included pasta. Every. Single. Night. Well a few weeks back we dinned at @lorimer_market and with dishes like these classics, the memories came flooding back. This place is a Brooklyn secret, and if you’re local to the area, you’re robbing yourself if you don’t drop past and see what they have to offer. Ask about their dinners, and get on the list. The real deal 👌🏽 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📍: @lorimer_market 📸: @beersnackalmanac 😂: Tag a friend who’s on a diet haha ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #pasta #pasta🍝 #broccoli #broccolipasta #nonasuperwoman #nyceeeeets #eatingforinsta #goodeats #instafoods #noleftovers #newforkcity #eatfamous #nycfood #nycdining #grubshotsnyc #eatnowplaylater #mecookmeeat #yougottaeatthis #foodporndaily1 #tastethisnext #spoonfed #noleftovers #eatmunchies #dailyfood #devourpower #cheatmeals #cheatfamousfriday #instafoods #tryitordietu

  1. Start boiling water and cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package. Before you put the pasta in the water, make sure you add a ton of salt for flavor.
  2. Once the pasta goes in the water, you can also put in the broccoli florets. By boiling them before they cook again, they retain their green color and will saute faster.
  3. After a couple of minutes, take the broccoli out and start sauteing it in a pan so it gets a little crispier.
  4. In another pan, heat some olive oil and cook some diced garlic and red chili flakes. Add in regular or vegan butter, white wine, salt, and pepper and cook together for a few minutes.
  5. Once the pasta is done, add immediately to the sauce, and toss in the broccoli as well.
  6. Combine for about a minute as all the flavors meld together.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
