]]>Let’s talk about yeast for a second. Throughout history, bread was created using naturally occurring wild yeast cultures. It was a slow, organic process that demanded patience. However, when corporations entered the bread-making scene, they introduced something called artificial yeast to make production faster and more efficient.
This technological advancement came at a price—the healthiness of bread. Whether it’s white, wheat, or multigrain, bread made with artificial yeast lost some of its nutritional benefits.
But sourdough bakers revived the old-school approach, allowing natural yeast cultures to flourish naturally. From a health perspective, the natural yeast cultures in sourdough bread make it easier on your digestive system. They work their magic during the fermentation process, breaking down complex carbohydrates and gluten, which can be challenging for some to digest. This process not only aids digestion but also gives more healthy nutrients, making them ready for absorption.

]]>Mozzarella is one of the most popular cheeses in the world, and for good reason. Although it’s usually found on pizza, Mozzarella is so versatile that it can also make your omelet taste amazing. Its mild yet rich flavor is something that you really can’t go wrong with.
Many believe that Cheddar is the best cheese for omelets, and they certainly make a compelling argument. Its strong flavor pairs amazingly well with it, and its bright orange color adds a nice touch from a visual standpoint (if you care about that sort of thing).
Finally, if you like a little spiciness in your eggs, Pepper Jack is for you. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but those who enjoy it swear by it to anyone who will listen. Give it a shot and see how you like it!

]]>So much of our time is spent at home, and that’s true for most of the hours when we crave junk food. Let’s be real, it’s incredibly easy to just grab that unhealthy food we love so much in those down moments. Sometimes, it can seem downright impossible to avoid it. Therefore, the best option for some people is to simply throw it all in the trash.
It seems obvious, and yet so many aspiring dieters keep plenty of junk food lying around the house. This is hurting you more than you realize. You may think that you’re “practicing self-control”, but you’re actually shooting yourself in the foot by enabling yourself. If you really want to practice self-control, don’t buy unhealthy foods when you’re at the supermarket, and eventually, it’ll seem like second nature to you.

]]>The first thing you need is your ground beef, and make sure that it’s defrosted and easy to work with. Toss it all into a mixing bowl, and then throw in a half cup of breadcrumbs and two eggs. Add a few seasonings in there as well if you’re feeling adventurous.
Once you’re done mixing it all up, roll the mixture into multiple balls. The size of the balls is up to you but bear in mind that they’ll shrink once they’re getting cooked.
Next, get a sauce boiling in a pot over the stove. We personally like to use a full bottle of barbeque sauce, a half bottle of sweet chili, and half a cup of water. Toss some diced onions and garlic in there as well. Finally, to give it that extra dose of sweetness, add in a half cup of brown sugar.
Once your sauce is bubbling, place the uncooked meatballs into the pot, one by one. Cover the pot and let it sit for around an hour while mixing it around occasionally. Your meatballs should be ready to go by the end of it!

]]>We thought we’d kick things off with a brand that’s less well-known than its counterparts on this life. Lightlife isn’t as popular as some of the big dogs, but it’s on the rise, and for good reason.
There’s a reason that when you walk into most restaurants, there’s usually an option to buy an Impossible Burger. That’s because they make some of the best meatless burgers in the world, which offer a powerful blend between a meat-like flavor and a healthy finish.
The other popular brand in town is none other than Beyond Meat. They too are world-renowned for their ability to craft delicious patties that have absolutely no meat in them, making for a tasty meal that’ll leave you feeling energized afterward.

]]>The first thing a sashimi chef does is choose the best possible quality fish around. This shows their level of professionalism before they’ve even picked up a knife because detecting a quality fish is a lot easier said than done.
Once they’ve actually decided which fish they’re going to use, the next step is arguably the most important of all—putting the fish into the freezer to kill all of the bacteria and toxins. This is the part that actually makes the raw fish okay for human consumption, and we all know how important that is.
Finally, the main part that we as consumers actually notice—is the presentation of the sashimi. Sashimi chefs are incredibly adept at using knives and carving their masterpieces exactly to their liking. They’re also amazing at adding the perfect seasoning, which is ultimately the final step in the process.

If you’re looking for some added protein in your pizza, why not try the BBQ chicken slice? We actually go for the veggie chicken version, but you’re more than welcome to have regular chicken if that suits you.
Finally, a spinach slice is an excellent choice for you if you’re really trying to feel good. Let’s be real, pizza isn’t super healthy, so why not make yourself feel a little bit better knowing you’re getting some healthy spinach nutrients?

The fact that there’s a strong presence of broccoli in it lets you know that you’ll be taken care of in the nutritional department, at least to an extent. But the real star of the show is the cheddar cheese, which takes the healthiness of the broccoli and elevates it into an otherworldly realm of creamy and savory delight.
This delicious soup is something you can definitely make at home, but it’s not the only option available. Let’s be real, some of us want to be wined and dined and don’t feel like attempting it ourselves. If you want to leave the cooking to the pros, we suggest heading on over to Panera Bread, a diner where they make some of the tastiest broccoli and cheddar soup around.
