Are you looking for a new and interesting dessert to surprise your dinner guests? Well, cookie dough ice cream sandwiches might be exactly up your alley. Here’s your guide to making this scrumptious dessert that will be sure to light up your next dinner party.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream

Instructions:

  1. Microwave the flour in a small bowl for 15 seconds. Stir and heat again and repeat the process until the flour has been heated for 1 minute total.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the butter, both sugars, and the vanilla extract. Put the dough onto a baking sheet and press it into a 16″ x 8″ rectangle. Put it in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  3. Take out the frozen dough and cut it in half crosswise. Put half of the dough in a pan and top up with ice cream. Spread the ice cream evenly across the dough and top it with the remaining dough.
  4. Freeze for at least 2 hours. Afterwards, remove from the freezer and cut into 16 sandwiches and enjoy.

Let’s be real, cookie dough is a godsend that most of us can’t resist. After all the allegations that it can give you parasites because of the raw egg, it was time to find some safe-to-consume recipes. These no-bake recipes will have you drooling for more.

Choco Chip Cookie Dough Bars

What’s better than mixing brownie recipes and cookie dough? Just mix and refrigerate!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/3 cups oat flour
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons coconut oil
Directions:
1. Mix together the cream, butter, and brown sugar with an electric mixer.
2. Fold in the vanilla extract, milk, salt and oat flour, and chocolate chips.
3. Take an 8×8-inch baking pan and line with parchment/wax paper.
4. Refrigerate for two hours.
5. For the topping: melt the semisweet chocolate chips with coconut oil over low heat.
6. Pour topping over the cooled cake.
7. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.

Eggless Cookie Dough

Enjoy your sweet treat without the danger of raw eggs. Keep in the fridge for up to two weeks for a midnight treat.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened
2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup oat flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
1. In a bowl, mix together the cream, butter, and brown sugar with an electric hand mixer.
2. Add the milk, vanilla, and salt.
3. Add oat flour until the mixture is equally distributed.
4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
5. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
