]]>Cleaning the plughole has never been easier! All you need is some white vinegar, bicarbonate of soda, and boiling water. Make sure your sink is damp and pour 40 grams of soda down the drain. Leave for half an hour, then follow with 100ml of vinegar. Pour a full kettle of boiling water down the sink to wash it off.

Cleaning the microwave can be daunting, but it gets much easier if you start by microwaving a bowl of water with 50ml white vinegar and some sliced lemon. Do a five-minute program and leave the door closed for five more minutes, then get cleaning.

Baking dishes can get so dirty that you never want to clean them, but there’s a way you can make the task a lot easier. Make a paste using white vinegar, dish soap, and bicarbonate of soda. Scrub the dish with the paste (wear gloves!) and cover with a kitchen roll. Leave it for an hour then wipe everything with a kitchen roll and wash as usual.

]]>After a day full of cooking and preparing food and drinks, your countertops and stove are probably going to have some residue on them. So, instead of waiting days for this dirtiness to accumulate and look unpresentable, just do a quick wipedown every day.
No one likes the feeling of stepping on a forgotten potato chip or an undiscovered sprinkling of coffee grounds on the floor, which means that it’s essential to sweep your kitchen every day. It’s no one’s favorite task, but you’ll appreciate how much cleaner your kitchen feels if you do it.
It’s easy for unpleasant odors to take over a kitchen if you aren’t careful. With this in mind, empty the garbage on a daily basis as soon as it fills up, and make time to spray the kitchen every day with a nice scent or by making a stovetop potpourri in order to keep things smelling nice.

]]>When you’re using a stainless steel pan on a regular basis, you don’t want to spend all your time after you’ve cooked cleaning it. To make it easier for yourself, fill the pot or pan with water, squeeze in some dish soap, and let it come to a boil, bring it down to a simmer for 15-20 minutes, and then when you wash it, you should easily get off all the stuck-on bits.
For those meals that really have done a number to your pans, or for when you’ve decided you really need to give those pots a deep clean, baking soda is the answer to your prayers. All you have to do is mix however much you’ll be needing with some gentle dish soap to form a paste.
Spread the paste all over the affected areas of your pots and pans and leave it on for at least a few hours to soak it. Then, scrub it off, clean it like usual, and you should see a nearly brand-new pot or pan in front of you!
