Can you believe we’re just days away from Memorial Day Weekend? This year has flown by and before you know it, it will be time to start planning your Fourth of July barbeque. While every barbeque has meats, sides, and desserts, it’s important not to forget drinks. On a hot summer’s day, these cocktails will keep you cool and they’ll pair well with whatever you’re grilling.

Gin and Tonic

Gin and Tonics scream summer and all you need for this favorite is ice, gin, tonic water, fresh lime juice, and a lime wedge. You can put more gin in the drink if you prefer a stronger cocktail.

Margarita

This margarita recipe uses only three ingredients and it’s sweet, sour, and salty. Tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and a lime wedge are all you need for this refreshing drink.

Mojitos

This rum-based drink is similar to Gin and Tonics, but with rum instead of gin. Mojitos have white rum, club soda, fresh mint, lime, sugar, and ice.

Lemonade Shandy

Most barbecues have beer and lemonade so why not mix them together for a refreshing drink? All you need is two ingredients for this delicious drink!

Tequila Sunrise

Tequilla Sunrises are as pretty as they are tasty and if you love tequila and orange juice, this drink’s for you. They come together with a cherry on top.
