]]>One of those things is the fact some foods simply aren’t great candidates for delivery. Here are three that you should avoid ordering to be delivered.
Nachos are one of my favorite treats at Mexican restaurants, as the delicious combination of tortilla chips covered with salsa, beans, cheese, veggies, and sometimes meat is irresistible. However, by the time this dish is delivered to your home, the chips will be soggy thanks to all of those toppings, and it just won’t taste the same.
It might be tempting to order an ice cream dessert from a restaurant or to simply place an order from your local gelato shop, but unfortunately this food simply doesn’t hold up well for delivery. Meltiness and losses of flavor and texture tend to be the norm when ice cream is delivered.
Ordering french fries is a delivery classic, but more often than not you’ll end up disappointed after your fries arrive soggy and cold. Reheated french fries just aren’t the same, and unless the delivery is super quick, they won’t be hot upon arrival. It’s better not to risk it with this side dish.

]]>Everyone loves potato chips and dip, so why not take it a step further and use them as a base for nachos instead of regular tortilla chips! The best is when you make them yourself because they are sturdier, which only involves slicing them really thin or using a mandolin, roasting or frying them, and topping them as you would normal nachos.
Adding a protein to nachos is natural, but why settle for normal ground beef or black beans? Instead, spice it up by using buffalo chicken! Just take a rotisserie chicken, shred it, and dost it in buffalo hot sauce, and you just spiced up your nachos in no time.
Nachos are the best way to try out a vegan dish. All you have to do is take out the cheese and either leave it bare, or use some vegan cheese instead! There are also many ways to make a gooey cheese sauce easily and still have it be vegan.
