]]>The ratio of sparkling wine to orange juice is up to you, but we suggest starting with a 50/50 ratio and then making adjustments from there. Other tips include keeping the ingredients chilled and to pour in the sparkling wine before the orange juice. In regards to the glass, it’s best to use Champagne flutes and when you pour the wine in to hold the glass at a slight angle. You don’t need to stir your mimosas as pouring the liquids will mix them and stirring them will release bubbles.
If you want a variation of mimosa, switch out the orange juice for cranberry juice, grapefruit juice, peach puree, pineapple juice, pear nectar, pomegranate juice, apple cider, or watermelon juice.
Mimosa bars are a great idea if you’re hosting a party as they’re so easy to make and guests can combine chilled sparkling wine and juice in their own glasses, so they can make the cocktail the way they like. Or if you want to do the work ahead of time, you can pre-mix mimosas into pitchers and combine equal parts wine and juice.
