]]>The most recognizable taste in pumpkin pie spice is cinnamon—a spicy, sweet, and warm spice, which gives the backbone to the rest of the spice flavors that are found within the mix, along with helping out its aroma.
One of the main sources of the aroma in pumpkin pie is nutmeg. Containing a smell that many describe as resembling that of a forest, its slightly sweet flavor also enhances the dessert.
Most people either love ginger or hate it, but its presence in pumpkin pie is complementary and you might not even notice it. The sharp, peppery taste and smell of this spice is hardly noticeable—unless you really pay attention—but in its small dose does wonders.
Finally, cloves are the last common spice found in pumpkin pie. This dried-out tree bud is ground into the mix in small quantities and provides a hint of a pungent sweetness and warmth that is unmistakable.

]]>If you want to upgrade the taste of your next cup of green tea, why not give these ingredients a try?
My favorite ingredient to add to a cup of green tea is as simple as a spoonful of honey. In addition to the antioxidant boost that this “liquid gold” gives, it also adds a delicious bit of sweetness to the drink.
Adding dried mango to a cup of green tea rehydrates the fruit, allowing its juices to escape into the drink and imbuing it with a delicious, sweet, and tropical flavor. This is a great addition to give the tea a bit of sweetness to counteract its natural bitterness.
Another great option for green tea is ginger, which gives the drink a bit of spicy bite that many love. In addition, ginger is a super healthy root that has the ability to reduce inflammation and calm an upset stomach.

]]>Start by getting 1 oz white tequila, 1/2 cup good-quality ginger ale, 1/2 oz orange liqueur, and juice of one lime for the spritzer. The grenadine syrup in the recipe also requires separate ingredients. You will need 1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, 1 cup unsweetened pomegranate juice and 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice.
The good thing about this pomegranate ginger spritzer is that you only need 5 minutes to make it. Start with the grenadine. Get a pan and put it over medium heat. Mix the sugar and pomegranate juice. Let it stay on the heat for 25 minutes, and make sure that you stir often until it starts simmering. You can now remove it from the stove and include the lemon juice.
Once this is done you can proceed with the spritzer. Get a glass and fill it with the lime juice, orange liqueur, white tequila and 2 tablespoons of the grenadine. Mix everything together. Add ice to the glass and finish off with the ginger ale. This is how you make a pomegranate ginger spritzer.

]]>This amazing ginger tea does just that and more. Ginger is antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and more, as well as a huge digestive aid. So if you are ready to get serious about your health, get to brewing!
To make this tea, first, start out with some ginger root. If you buy organic ginger, you can actually keep the skin on. If you do not, scrape it off with the back of a spoon.
Then, chop it into slices and add it to a pot of water. Into the pot, you can also add the peel of a lemon, orange, or lime, as well as any extra spices like cloves or star anise.
Bring that all to a boil, let it cook for 15 minutes at a simmer, and then strain out the pieces.
Keep this in a jar that you can warm up for several days and stay healthy!

]]>Most people hear chai and immediately think latte, but in reality, it is a tea that originates from India. Chai is actually just the name for tea in Hindi, but it is normally a spiced black tea that can help you with digestion, reduce your blood sugar, and still give you almost as much caffeine as a cup of coffee!
Chamomile is the perfect tea to have before bed, because it is packed with antioxidants, including one called apigenin that actually makes you sleepy. This antioxidant actually activates the areas of your brain that make you feel tired, so if you struggle to fall asleep, you should definitely have this on your nightstand.
Ginger tea is just what you need if you struggle with heartburn or any other digestion issues. It is also something good to drink if you’re in a car or another vehicle and you get motion sickness.
