Fall is a season of bold flavors and comfortable cocktails—but all the pumpkin spice, cinnamon and nutmeg can get boring. If you fancy trying something seasonal that mixes things up a bit, why not try out this apple martini?

Here’s how you can prepare it in 3 simple steps.

Gather Ingredients

To make this apple martini you will need 2 oz. sour apple liqueur, 1 1/2 oz. vodka, 1 oz fresh lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon honey, and a cocktail shaker.

Combine Ingredients

Combine all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and stir to dissolve the honey. Add ice and shake the mix for at least a minute until it is very cold.

Serve

Once the drink has been thoroughly mixed together, strain into a chilled martini glass. To make the experience even more sensuous, you can stick some sugar to the rim of the glass. The sweetness nicely complements the sharpness of the apple and vodka.

Taste

The refreshing thing about this cocktail is that it offers a sharp but sweet alternative to all those fall spices. Its fresh fruity feel helps to blow away some of the cobwebs as the weather starts to change.
