Forget the bakery! These homemade cinnamon rolls are about to become your new breakfast (or dessert) obsession. They’re not for the faint of heart—buttery dough, gooey filling, and a rich, creamy frosting come together to create an indulgence unlike any other. Let’s dive in!

Ingredients:

Dough:

1 cup warm milk (about 115°F)
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus extra for dusting
1 teaspoon salt

Filling:

3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Frosting:

4 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Whisk warm milk, yeast, and sugar and let the mixture foam. Add eggs, melted butter, then flour and salt. Knead the mixture into a smooth dough. Then, let it rise until doubled.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
Roll the risen dough, spread with butter, and top with sugar mix and vanilla. Roll up the dough and cut into slices.
Place the rolls in a greased dish, and let rise for 30 min.
Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
In the meantime, beat cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla for frosting.
Cool rolls slightly, frost, and enjoy!
