Caramel apples are a fall staple and sure—the plain caramel apples taste amazing—but these toppings make them even more delicious! You haven’t had a caramel apple quite like these before.

Fireball Apples

The cinnamon whisky adds a nice kick to caramel apples, and we have to admit—they look amazing.

Apple Pie Caramel Apple

Why not have this classic dessert in caramel apple form? After you’ve dipped the apple in the caramel, melt some white chocolate on it and dip it in cinnamon graham crackers.

Breakfast Cereal Caramel Apples

Any cereal works well with caramel apples, but Fruity Pebbles are our favorite. They work so well, because they’re light enough that the caramel doesn’t slide.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Caramel Apple

So you love PSL—why not make your love known with pumpkin spice latte caramel apples? Stir a packet of instant pumpkin spice-flavored coffee into the caramel sauce before dipping the apple and then rolling it in crushed pumpkin spice almonds.

S’mores Caramel Apple

Have you added apple slices to s’mores? This is pretty much the same idea—just roll the caramel apple in mini chocolate chips, crushed graham crackers, and mini marshmallows.

Fall is almost here and with the cooler weather comes cozy sweaters, colorful leaves, and apple season! While apple pies and apple ciders are popular ways to make use of the delicious fruit, there are tons of other fun ways to use apples and one of our favorites happens to be apple pops. Apple pops are like candy apples, but they’re easier to eat as you don’t have to cut into them. This recipe makes 10 pops and here’s how to make this fall treat.

Ingredients:

• 3-4 large apples
• 2 cups caramel for apple dipping
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips, melted
• 10 wooden ice pop sticks
• 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
• 1 tablespoon rainbow sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Wash and dry the apples and cut them into 1/2 inch-thick slices, making sure to cut into the same direction as the core to keep the apple shape. For each apple, you should get between two to four apple-shaped slices.
  2. With a butter knife, puncture a small slit in the bottom center of each slice and then insert a wooden ice pop stick. Use a paper towel to get rid of any excess juices. Then, transfer them to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Melt the caramel following the instructions on the packaging.
  4. Dip each of the apples in the caramel, allowing them to fully coat and letting the excess caramel drip back into the pan.
  5. Put the apples on the parchment-lined baking sheet and drizzle with chocolate.
  6. Top with peanuts or sprinkles and then put the baking sheet in the refrigerator, allowing the chocolate to firm up, for about 10 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!
