]]> Some sandwich fillings are just made to go together. Cheese and tomato, ham and mustard – or what about this British classic, beef and horseradish? Combining some seriously good savory flavors, when this sandwich is made right it’s hard to resist. Check out this recipe so that you can enjoy your own beef and horseradish sandwiches.

Ingredients (serves 2):

  • 4 slices of white bread
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 4 slices of topside beef
  • 1 tablespoon of horseradish
  • 2 handfuls of green salad leaves

Instructions:

  1. Butter the bread, and then spread the horseradish thinly over each slice.
  2. Layer up the beef and top with the salad leaves.
  3. This sandwich goes great with boiled or fried potatoes, or alongside a sumptuous fall salad.
