Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 large ice cube
  • 1 cube demerara sugar
  • Orange peel and maraschino cherry

Instructions

  1. Pour the bitters, sugar, and water into a rock glass and allow the sugar to dissolve.
  2. Add ice and top off with the bourbon.
  3. Stir well and garnish with the orange peel and maraschino cherry before serving.

Negroni took over the second spot on the best cocktails of 2018 list. This refreshing drink is ideal for hot summer days, so don’t hesitate before ordering one. Just like Old Fashioned, Negroni is the runner-up for the fourth year in a row.

Whiskey Sour

Nothing beats a good Whiskey Sour. For all the bourbon fans, this is the all-time favorite cocktail.

Continuing the clementine theme, here’s a twist on one of my favorite cocktails! It was also a good opportunity for me to try my hand at bitter art. Not the best first attempt so there’s room for improvement! – Clementine Whiskey Sour – 1.5 oz Bourbon 1 oz Fresh Clementine Juice .5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice .5 oz Simple Syrup Egg Whites – Add all ingredients except egg whites to shaker. Add ice and shake to chill. Discard ice then add egg whites and shake again. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a clementine slice and maraschino cherry. Drop 3 dots of bitters on the foam with a dropper and draw a line through it with a cocktail pick. . . . #clementine #whiskeysour #whiskey #bourbon #bulleit #bulleitbourbon #angostura #maraschinocherries
