Not only has this spread been around since at least the 13th century, it is made in a way that is completely healthy and vegan. This unassuming restaurant serves up some of the best hummus you will ever taste. There is also mashausha, a type of a hummus that is made slightly different from regular Israeli hummus.
In the heart of the Carmel Market is Hummus Magen David. Made to look like an old synagogue, this place is actually one of the best hummus joints in town.
