]]> We most often think of ribs as being made on the grill or in a smoker, but it’s actually super easy to make fall-off-the-bone ribs in your oven. And better yet, it’s a lot less of a hassle to do!

Mexican ribs are our favorite type to make, as their sweet and spicy character along with a dash of spices, including garlic, make the flavor quotient rise to the highest degree. Let’s learn how to make them at home!

Ingredients:

  • 1 rack of pork ribs
  • ¼ cup Valentina black label sauce
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1.5 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Start off by putting the ribs and all of the other ingredients in a large Ziploc bag or container and carefully mixing and rubbing the sauce mixture to ensure that all of its elements are evenly and equally combined. 
  2. Place in the refrigerator and allow to marinate for 4-6 hours.
  3. Preheat your oven to 275 F and line a baking pan with aluminum foil. Place the marinated ribs on the foil and the pan and put them into the oven.
  4. Allow to bake for 2 ½-3 hours, serve, and enjoy!

???¡COSTILLITAS DE CERDO EN ADOBLO!??? – 2 kilos de costilla de cerdo – Chile guajillo en polvo – Chile ancho en polvo – 2 jitomates ? – 1/2 cebolla grande – 2 dientes de ajo – 8 chiles anchos – 8 chiles guajillos – 1 lata de chipotles – sal, pimienta, ajo en polvo y consomé en polvo Sazonar las costillas con sal, pimienta, ajo en polvo, y los chiles en polvo, y sellar todos los lados en un sartén bien caliente con aceite. Tatemar los jitomates, la cebolla, los ajos, los chiles (previamente lavados y desvelados), los chiles una vez tatemados, hidratar en un bowl con agua caliente, y poner todo en la licuadora hasta mezclar muy bien. Sazonar con el caldo en polvo, sal, pimienta y ajo en polvo. Sofreír en un poco de aceite el adobo, hasta que deje de verse la espuma. Precalentar el horno a 200°C. Poner las costillas en un refractario y bañarlas en adobo por ambos lados, y meter tapadas con aluminio por 20min, sacar voltear las costillas y bañarlas otra vez y regresarlas al horno tapadas por otros 20min. Sacar y bañar costillas y meter al horno por 15 minutos destapadas, sacar voltear y volver a bañar y meterlas al@hirno por 15 min. más, y ¡LISTO!
