]]>According to Kazim, the idea for the London Cheap Eats guide came out of a growing need. “During eight months of travel taking up most of 2015 I realized, when I did return home, I was going to have a lot less disposable income than when I left,” she recalled on her website.
“I like to go out, quite a bit. I still very much wanted to be an active member of London’s dining scene, enjoying the fantastic meals it has to offer on a frequent basis, but without the £20-£60 (and beyond) price tag each time. And I figured there were others like me.”
And so, she decided to launch a comprehensive guide of the best budget food in London, made up of trusted and objective opinions, suggesting not only on where to go, but also what to order.
With a huge following on Instagram, her idea caught on. To date, the official London Cheap Eats Instagram has 93k followers.
The recommendations and reviews come with photos and videos that are alone worth your follows and likes. Be sure to check it out.

]]>“The reason I, and so many others, love travel so much is because it is surely the best way to smash through pre-conceptions and break down cultural barriers,” she explained in a recent interview with Mother Tongue.
“When we are once again able to move freely post COVID-19, I hope people will see what a gift we’d been taking for granted travel really is. I hope we will approach travel with the ambition to immerse ourselves in new cultures so that we can acknowledge, celebrate, embrace and learn from our cultural differences, rather than persecute them.
“I’m so thankful for the places that have been able to reopen with all the necessary social distancing measures in place, and appreciate the huge amount of planning and hard work that’s gone into that,” she added in a recent Instagram post.
“Remember, the big chains will be better equipped to make it through the other side of these strange times. The small places are fighting every day to stay afloat, and it’s us—their customers—that can throw them the lifeline they need by giving them our business.”
Her Instagram page is a breath of fresh air these days. Follow her travels, as she tastes the many flavors available in the culinary world.

]]>We were right: the images actually show the inside of a new, Batman-themed restaurant that will open in London later this year.
“The restaurant will be rooted within the DC Multiverse, taking visitors on a culinary adventure through the many fictional Universes famous for their superhero residents such as Batman, Superman and Wonderwoman,” a source told Eater London. The restaurant will “invite guests to experience the DC Universe without breaking the fourth wall—the imaginary wall that separates the audience from the performance.”

]]>Some of the things that await the lucky guests include cheese art, cheese bedding, and, of course, plenty of different cheeses to snack on. The restaurant is known for its “fromage-filled menu” and this project is an homage to that. You can enter the raffle if you want to win a stay in this amazing suite with a friend on February 7th, 2020.
If we’re judging according to the illustration the restaurant shared on social media, the suite’s decor will closely follow the theme of cheese.
“Included in your stay will be full access to all amenities plus the use of the cheese hotline delivery service – so you can relax and unwind at your leisure, whether that be listening to R ‘n’ Brie or catching up with someone cheesy on the eyes,” the restaurant’s website reads.
