This restaurant is located inside the former residence of an early 20th century Brazilian architect and his singer wife and features a gorgeous atrium containing a small pond, which is where diners eat at the Plage Cafe.
The Plage Cafe is mostly known for its excellent brunch, although it does feature some lunch plates as well. Eggs benedict, fresh Brazilian fruit juices, and house specialties such as their own specialty omelettes and hamburgers are some of the other highlights that can be found here.
Anyone who is looking for a stunning and unique brunch or lunch experience should add the Plage Cafe to their list of places to eat in Rio. Happy eating!

]]>Fido’s is a one-of-a-kind bar located in the Portland suburb of Tigard in the United States, offering diners and drinkers the opportunity to hang out with adoptable pooches as they enjoy their order.
The 40 beers on tap are plenty of reason enough to visit, but the bar’s core mission makes it a huge ally in the fight for animal well-being.
The bar’s motto of “Eat. Drink. Adopt.” explains their mission perfectly—they want people to come in and not only enjoy their time with the dogs that are at the bar, but also to decide to adopt them in order to reduce the population of homeless pups.
Fido’s partnership with Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals ensures that there are always adoptable dogs making the rounds at the bar. Demand can be high, so the bar recommends calling ahead to ensure a slot to spend time with the adoptable dogs.
If you ever find yourself in Oregon, be sure to make time in your schedule to stop by this heart-warming and unique spot.
