Pizza lovers with dietary restrictions, rejoice! If you’re following a gluten-free diet or simply looking for a healthier pizza alternative, cauliflower pizza is the answer. Here’s a simple recipe to make cauliflower pizza at home.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium-sized cauliflower head
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F. Wash and dry the cauliflower head, then cut it into florets. Use a food processor or grater to chop the cauliflower into fine crumbs.
  2. Microwave the riced cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl for 4-5 minutes until soft. Allow it to cool, then squeeze out excess moisture using a cheesecloth or towel.
  3. In a bowl, combine the squeezed cauliflower, egg, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix into a dough.
  4. Place the cauliflower dough on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, shaping it into a round crust, with slightly thicker edges.
  5. Bake the cauliflower crust for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Remove the crust, spread tomato or pizza sauce, add mozzarella cheese and your toppings.
  7. Return the pizza to the oven, and bake for another 10-12 minutes. Let it cool, then slice and serve. Enjoy!
