We have officially found the best Caprese chicken recipe ever. It is perfect for a romantic lunch with a quality glass of wine. This recipe is meant for two servings, and it will take you a total of 40 minutes to make.

Ingredients:

The ingredient list for this Caprese chicken recipe includes:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/4 cup low moisture shredded mozzarella
3 teaspoons dried minced onion
1 sliced tomato
5 large chopped basil leaves

How To Make It:

First, set the oven to preheat at 425 F degrees.

Get a dish and pour the flour on its bottom. Add salt and pepper to your liking. Put the chicken breasts in the flour and coat them with the mixture.

Grab a baking sheet and put the chicken breasts on it. Cover the meat with the mayonnaise in a thin layer. Add the seasoning, then the minced onion.

Put the meat in the oven for around 20 minutes. Remove it, and then add the mozzarella on top of the breasts.

Bake for 5 more minutes. Decorate the Caprese chicken with slices of tomato and basil. Add some balsamic vinegar on top.
